At LKA Richecca French Connection yet again won minor puppy dog. Well done Sue and Harrison!

At NESS Championship Show, Richecca French Connection (Harrison), won minor puppy dog. His litter sister, Richecca And All That Jazz won minor puppy bitch. We were delighted that Richeccca Sea The Stars at Crimbledale (Ellen Loynd) was back to her winning ways, winning graduate bitch. Not to be outdone, her sire, Richecca Reubyn won limit dog. What an excellent day!

Richecca After Midnight (Roxi) won best puppy in show and Richecca French Connection (Sue and John Rumble) was best dog puppy at MESS Open Show.
5th November
At Setter + Pointer, Richecca Seize the Day (Ryan) owned by Ken + Jillian Spencer won minor puppy dog and our own Richecca And All That Jazz won minor puppy bitch. To finish off a lovely day Connor (Sh Ch Richecca Make My Day for Sorbus) won the Champion stakes under Mr E. Evans.

At Midland Counties, "Harrison" (Sue + John Rumble) Richecca French Connection won minor puppy dog.

At Gundog Society of Wales Championship Show, Coco won Limit bitch and the CC, under breed specialist Gordon Hayburn.
Richecca French Connection (Sue and John Rumble) won Minor puppy dog at his first show.

Upperwood Coco Chanel For Richecca won her first CC, under breed specialist Mrs Jane Bishop at Three Counties Championship Show.

At Southern Counties Championship Show Richecca China Doll gained her title, winning her third CC, under breed specialist Mrs S Loynd. 'Summer' is the 6th Show Champion producxed by Sh Ch Upperwood Paper Pearl for Richecca. This is a new breed record, the previous record of 5 Show Champions was held for 25 years. We are delighted that our beautiful Pearl has made breed history by passing on her superb temperament and showmanship to her offspring, and thus enabling her to gain the recognition that she deserves.

Sh Ch Richecca Make my Day for Sorbus won his 10th CC and went Best in Show at The English Setter Association Championship Show. This will be his third breed club Best in Show!

Connor (Richecca Make My Day for Sorbus) represented our breed at the prestigious Contest of Champions, held at the Heathrow Thistle Hotel. He did us proud and got through the first two rounds, beating top class competition. Through to the last 16, what an achievement. A good night was had by all!

Our first Championship Show of the year (Midland English Setter Society) saw Connor (Sh Ch Richecca Make My Day for Sorbus) win his 9th CC and go Best in Show. Richecca China Doll won limit bitch, and Upperwood Coco Chanel for Richecca won post-graduate bitch. Not a bad start to the year!
